In this upcoming year, most of the holidays are going to be held on Monday and Friday. 

There are  a total of 11 holidays in 2013. The benefit of holidays on Monday and Friday is that the weekend holidays add up in the list making a long weekend to have fun with your family.

The very first day of New Year is holiday. The date is 1January 2013 and day is Tuesday.

The new year according to Chinese calendar is also treated as holiday in Singapore. It’s two days holiday, occurring on 10 February and 11 February 2013.

This is celebrated with great enthusiasm by the people if Singapore. The date for this holiday is 29 March, 2013 and day is Friday.

Laborers play a major role in the progress of every nation. Singapore’s laborers are hard working and always put the efforts for their nation’s progress. To reward the laborers, Labour day is celebrated and holiday is announced every year. The date for this is 1st May 2013 and the day is Wednesday.

Friday 24 May 2013 is the date for this holiday.

Celebrated by the people of all religions of Singapore, this holiday takes place on Thursday, 8 August 2013.
