King Bhumibol Adulyadej, the current king of Thailand had arrived on this planet in 1927 on the 5th of December.  His father was the great prince Mahodol who belonged to Songkhla and his mom was Sangwan.

King Bhumibol Adulyadej belongs to the Chakri dynasty and constitutes the ninth leaf of its kingdom. Chakri is the dynasty that has been ruling for the longest duration in the kingdom of Thailand. King Bhumibol Adulyadej is appreciated and celebrated for his kingship in every nook and corner of the kingdom. His respect an dvalue is not limited to his own kingdom but others all over the world duly regard him as someone worthy of respect.

He is followed by large crowds eager to pay homage to the Excellency.  The king has an attitude of kindness and regard towards his people. Not only does he listen to them intently but also makes sure that he is giving all that he can offer while he listens to their matters. This attitude towards his people has made him a part of their personal lives, not only do they adore him but also have formed a deep bonding with their king.

King Bhumibol Adulyadej is majorly concerned about the issue of personal health and fitness of his people. King Bhumibol Adulyadej has been making consistent trips to various villages throughout Thailand to help his people and to gain the knowledge of his people’s condition by personally visiting them, this offers him a great sense of personal satisfaction and realization that his people are doing okay. This also helps him understand the various needs and demands that they might be in need of.

Such visits have to be made on the cost of making journeys of thousands of miles. This has also led to the initiation of several projects for the welfare of the people. These projects are carried out and planned by the relevant national and regional organizations after his majesty’s advice and consultations.

His majesty is also accredited for having Chai Pattana Aerator Model RX 2 patented. This is a machine that is working to clean polluted water and is utilized in many polluted water systems throughout the land.

King Bhumibol Adulyadej is also religiously in sync with the tradition of his land. He is considered to be a very obedient and practicing student of Buddha. In order to follow the prevalent tradition among the male youth of going to the Buddhist monastery, King Bhumibol Adulyadej got into Wat Bovornnives on 22 October 1956. According to the constitution of Thailand, the king is to give attention to all his people and all sects and religions and not only limit and focus his attention to a specific class. He therefore follows the constitution in full vigor and enthusiasm and not only gives equal opportunities to the other crowd but also listens to their problems and tries to come up with appropriate solutions. Therefore all the communities of Thailand feel safe, secure, protected and respected on the whole.

King Bhumibol Adulyadej ascended to the throne on the 9th of June 1946. He is exactly what his name suggests and proclaims him to be, his name not only proclaims him to be the strength of the land but it also proclaims him to be the ultimate power, a power to which no other power could be compared. Since the day that he acceded to the throne he has been ruling over the country as the ultimate power and king. The Thailand constitution has given him a legal status as a monarch. The coronation ceremony was held on the 5th of May 1950.  The oath that King Bhumibol Adulyadej took comprised of the following contents:

“We will reign with righteousness for the benefit and happiness of the Siamese people”

King Bhumibol Adulyadej has been very religiously and honestly been taking care of his words since then. Not only has he made every effort to fulfill his promise but he has actually shown it and done it to the deepest spirits.
His birthday has been made a public holiday and King Bhumibol Adulyade celebrates it with the religious and peaceful rituals. The whole country is decorated and prayers are made for his long life.
